You don’t need any specific background to apply for this Digital Marketing training. To learn Digital Marketing from upGrad Campus, a candidate must be reasonably good at English and should be a fresher.
However, what we do want all our students to have is a passion for Digital Marketing above everything else.
There are two ways to apply for the Digital Marketing Certification course at upGrad Campus.

Our Certification will help you get positions like Digital Marketing Manager, Search Engine Marketing Manager, with specialisations in SEO, Social Media Marketing and Content. However, due to the vast nature of this field, our course will help you branch out comfortably into any other role of your preference.
Keeping your college workload in mind, the Live classes on Digital Marketing for beginners are scheduled on every Saturday & Sunday from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
At upGrad, we follow the S.M.A.R.T. framework for skilling. The acronym stands for Study, Make, Attempt, Revise, Test. You will spend roughly about 3 hours studying the concepts and tools, about 2-4 hours working on live projects, about 2 hours attempting and practising what you learned, about 2 hours revising what you learned, and about 1 hour testing yourself on what you learned. Please note that this amounts to about 10-12 hours of effort per week, which is a combination of self-paced and live session hours. Please also note that the distribution may differ depending on the topic.
To make Digital Marketing for beginners easy to understand, this course covers multiple projects that give you hands-on experience. These projects include SEO Auditing on an existing company, creating a Facebook page for a company as part of their brand strategy, setting up Google Analytics where you will analyse data for the Google Merchandise Store, and work on Search Engine Marketing campaigns. These projects will be Live and will give you the opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world setting.
Due to the hands-on nature of our Digital Marketing course, you will require a laptop in order to attend classes. However there is no requirement for any additional software.
The learning content will be available to access for 3 years post completion of your course.
At the start of the Digital Marketing Course, you will be assigned a mentor. The role of your mentor is to help you through your course and assess your progress along the way. They are there to guide you through any queries or issues you may have during the course.
In addition, you will also be guided by Subject Matter Experts who will conduct the Live sessions and by Technical Mentors who will help resolve your doubts.
We hold personalised doubt clearing sessions every Wednesday and Friday from 9pm to 10pm. In these sessions, dedicated Technical Mentors and Subject Matter Experts will answer your doubts and provide feedback. Furthermore, you can also connect with other students in the forum and get any peer support you need.
Yes. upGrad provides comprehensive placement assistance after completion of the program. These include training on aptitude and communication skills, mock interviews, placement readiness tests, profile building, access to the placement portal, etc.
